Altro smaltino che mi sono fatta prestare dall’amica ( grazie Erika ;)!

Lo avevo provato ancora tempo fa e una volta applicato sul unghia non mi convinceva affatto!

Another polish I borrowed from my friend ( thank you again Erika =p) !

I already tried it a long time ago , but once applied on my nails I didn't really liked how  the color looked on me !

Invece a distanza di tempo, devo dire che adesso  mi piace ;)

Si tratta di uno smalto della Nouba e costa sui 5.00 €!

Ci vogliono tre passate per avere una copertura perfetta e omogenea! Asciugatura: abb. Veloce.

Durata cosi cosi: al secondo giorno le punte sono leggermente rovinate!

Instead now , after some time,  I have to say that I like it ;)
This is a Nouba polish and it cost about 5,00 €.

You need three coats to get a perfect and even coverage, drying time is really quick.

Duration: so and so,  on the second day there are already chip signs!!

Fantasy Fire, viene considerato un dupe quasi perfetto per il più noto CLARINS 230 "unicorn pee", che ormai è quasi introvabile se non su Ebay a prezzi veramente esorbitanti!

Fantasy Fire is considered a near-perfect dupe for Clarins best-known 230 "unicorn pee", which is now almost unobtainable, except at very exorbitant prices on Ebay!

Qui a Londra Fantasy Fire è facilmente reperibile nelle catene di negozio "Boots" e la boccetta da 8ml costa 3.99£ ( circa 5.00 €).

Here in London, Fantasy Fire is easily available at "Boots" where the 8ml bottle costs 3.99 £ ( c.a 5.00 €).

 ho applicato due strati di "Fantasy Fire" sopra lo smalto "purple" della DIVIDED by h&m.

I applied two coats of Fantasy Fire over "purple" nail polish from DIVIDED by h&m.

Le foto purtroppo non rendono giustizia alla bellezza di Fantasy Fire, perchè non sono riuscita a catturare le varie sfumature, ma cmq è vermente bellissimo!!!

Unfortunately the photos do not justice to the beauty of  Fantasy Fire, because I couldn't  capture the  nuances, but it's truly amazing !!!

  

Voi che ne pensate? lo avevate gia sentito nominare? 

And you, what do you think about it? have you already heard about this little gem?

P.s: in queste foto le mie unghiette erano veramente belle lunghe, il giorno dopo aver scattato queste foto, le ho tagliate ( avevo una prova di lavoro), è quasi passato un mese, e sto ancora aspettando che crescano =( perchè ci mettono cosi tanto?!!

P.s: in this photos my nails where really long, sadly the next day I took the photo, I cut them down ( I had a work trial)now it's almost a month ago, and I'm still waiting for my nails to grow up =( why do they take so long?!!

"Constelllation Purpel" Dupe : FAIL !!!

Ciao Ragazze

Per oggi vi mostro il mio acquisto Dupe-oso:

diciamo che mi ero invagita ( sembra che sto parlando di una persona :-P) del "constellation purple " della Kiko (vi lascio il link della swachata vista su Pee Before Polish) uscito con la collezione LIGHT IMPULSE! Purtroppo quando finalmente avevo deciso di compralo, era già finito :'(

Poi un giorno, girovagando x Limoni, ho trovato questo mini smalto che mi ricordava il "constellation purple"! e visto che costava solo 2,50 € me lo sono portata a casa come premio di consolazione ;-)

For today I want to show you my Dupe-ish purchase: let's say that I fell in love with a polish called "constellation purple " from Kiko ( i leave you the link of the swatch seen on Pee Before Polish )  which came out with the Light Impulse collection!
Unfortunatly when I decided to buy it, it was already sold out =( So one day as I was by Limoni ( an italian drug store) I found this mini polish: and as it reminded me of " Constellation purple" and it only cost 2.50 € I took it home with me!


Eccolo qua/ Here it is :

Come potete vedere non ha niente a che vedere con il Constellation Purple, ma cmq resta un smalto carino!
Lo smalto è perfetto come "layering", inquanto non è molto coprente! In foto ho applicato due passate sopra uno smalto viola della Mavala!


This polish doesn't look like Constellation Purpel, but altough it's a nice polish!!
This polish is perfect for "layering", I put two coats over and purple polish from Mavala!

NOTD: Sephora “Moody Woman”

Ciao Ragazze / hi Ladies

Oggi vi mostro il mio primo smalto ( a parte il top coat, con il quale non mi sono trovata molto bene) di Sephora.

Lo avevo già utilizzato per questa nail art : clicca qua  e  finalmente sono riuscita a swacharlo:

Moody Woman come potete vedere è un duocrome che varia dal verde al blu, con  effetto foil!  Sinceramente l’effetto duocrome è meraviglioso in boccetta, ma poi, una volta applicato sul unghia, va a perdersi.

Moody Woman is a shimmery blue/ green duocrome with  foil finish!

If I have to say the truth, the duochrome effect is much more beautiful in the bottle as once applied on the nails! Infact once applied the duochrome effect disappears!

And after my last colorful Nail Art, today I show you a simple Swatch =p

voglio mostrarvi il ormai stra visto “ Blue addicted” della Essence, diventato popolare oltre alla sua bellezza anche per il fatto che è un dupe praticamente perfetto per il Famoso “Across the Universe” di Deborah Lippman! Questo smaltino  era nella mia wishlist da un po’ di tempo e finalmente sono riuscita a trovarlo!

Today I want to show you “ Blue Addicted” from Essence, which is  popular beside his beauty also for the fact that it’s a perfect dupe for the famous “ Across the Universe” from Deborah Lippman! This polish  was on my wishlist since a little bit and I finally found it!

Si avete letto bene Chanel……ma vi svelo direttamente il trucco: questo smaltino non è mio =p me lo sono fatta prestare dalla mia amica ( grazie Erika) visto che era da sempre che volevo provare un smalto Chanel! Ma penso che  non ne comprerei mai uno per via del prezzo troppo alto ! ( beh mai dire mai =p)

Yes you read right : Chanel……but I reveal you immediately the trick: this polish isn’t mine ;)

I borrowed it from a friend ( thanks Erika)  I always wanted to try a Chanel polish! But I think I would never buy one because of the high price ( well never say never =p)

Per il post di oggi, vi mostro la mia mani fatta con: / For today's post I show you my mani done with:

Essence -  nail art twins nr.06 " Bella"  +  Kiko nr.270  "sparkle touch"

Lo smalto Essence "Bella", è un bel verde/ teal dal finish cremoso ( è un casino riuscire a fotografare il colore reale) dal vivo è molto più verde e luminoso. Questo smalto è  molto pigmentato ( infatti ho messo ben due passate di base coat, per evitare qualsiasi problema) per  una copertura perfetta e omogenea bastano due passate.

Essence Bella is a nice cream green/ teal  polish ( It's really hard taking the right colour! In real  it looks much greener and brighter). The polish is really pigmented ( infact I applied two coats of base coat, to avoid any problem) for a perfect and smooth coverage you need two coats.

Visto che non avevo preso lo smalto gemello di Bella e cioè Edward, ho pensato  di usare lo smalto Kiko nr. 270 trovato nei cestini da 1, 50 €!! Questo smalto è visivamente molto carino: presenta dei flakes più grandi e dei microglitter con sfumature che variano dal rosa al blu e al verde. Anche qui per distribuire bene i glitter ci vogliono almeno due passate + Top coat. 

As I didn't buy Bella's twin (Edward) I thought of using Kiko nr. 270.
This polish is really cute...with pink, green and blu nuanced flakes and microglitters. Also here you need at least two coats + Top coat.

Non voglio parlarvi della rimozione perché è stata veramente faticosa......oltre alla tecnica della carta stagnola ho dovuto usare anche la lima !! >_< argh

I don't want to talk about the removal because it was awkward.....beside the tinfoil removal technique I also had to use the nail file !!! >_< argh

Direi che questo smalto Kiko è un ottimo sostituto di  Edward
( rimozione a parte) no?! ;)

I would say that this Kiko polish is a perfect substitute for Edward   
( apart removal ) no?! ;)

NOTD: Project Professional + Flowers !!!

Buon Pomeriggio/ Good afternoon

Un po’ di settimane fa, ho acquistato uno smalto di una marca mai vista: la “PROJECT Professional” nail polish made in Italy!

Ho trovato questa marca alla OVS e al prezzo di 1.99 € mi sono portata a casa un smaltino ;)

( all’interno del negozio mi aveva colpito perchè mi sembrava un bell’azzurrino “strambo” insomma un colore che non avevo ancora nella mia collezione. Una volta uscita invece, sotto la luce del sole, si è trasformato in un bel grigio con microshimmer =( vabbè sono contenta lo stesso ;)

• per 8 ml il prezzo mi sembra ragionevole ;)
• la qualità non mi dispiace, è  “big 3 free”
• Si stende bene (anche se lo smalto è un po’ liquidino)
• bastano due passate per avere una coprenza perfetta
• si asciuga velocemente

A few weeks ago, I purchased a polish from a never seen brand: “PROJECT Professional” nail polish made in Italy!

I found this brand at OVS ( a local shop) and for 1,99 € I bought a polish

( inside the shop this polish caught my attention because it looked like a strange “light blue” that I haven’t got in my collection yet. But once I got out of the shop, and looked at the polish under the sunlight, it transformed into a  grey with microshimmers =(  

• For 8 ml the price is reasonable
• The quality is not bad, its” big 3 free”
• The application is good ( even if the polish is a little bit liquid)
• Two coats are enough for full opacity
• It dries really quickly

NOTD: blue jeans......dupe or not?

Buon pomeriggio / good afternoon =)

Oggi voglio mostrarvi un smaltino Astra della collezione Italian Romantic Colours.
Si tratta del nr. 10 Blue Jeans, comprato principalmente, in quanto un possibile dupe del  famoso Blue Boy di Chanel ;)
Se è vero non so dirverlo, in quanto non ho provato lo smalto Chanel , ma confrontando le mie foto con un pò di swatches su internet, devo dire che non è proprio un dupe al 100%.
Fotografare il colore giusto è un impresa,  la prima e la terza foto corrispondono più o meno al colore reale.
Dupe o no, sono contenta di questo smalto, il colore mi piace, l'applicazione è buona ( 3 passate +  seche vite) tempo di asciugatura ( 20/30 min) prezzo € 2,50 per 11 ml.

Today I want to show you a Astra polish ( an italian brand) from the Italian Romantic Colours collection.
It's nr.10 Blue Jeans, I bought this colour because it's a possible dupe for Chanel Blue Boy.
If it's real  I can't  tell you because I haven't tried the Chanel polish, but confronting my pictures with some swatches in the internet, i must say that it isn't  a 100% dupe.
Getting the right colour in the photo isn't that easy. The most colour acourated is the 1st and 3th photo. Dupe or not, i'm happy with this polish , it's a nice colour , application is good ( 3 coats + one coat of seche vite) drying time is also ok ( more or less 20/30 min) price2,50 € for 11 ml.

La boccetta di questo smalto è assolutamente adorabile <3 <3 mi piace tantissimo!!!

Il colore è un po’ particolare, perfetto per l’inverno, nella foto ho fatto due passate + top coat.

Si stende molto bene, e si asciuga anche abb. velocemente.

The bottle is sooo adorable <3 <3 I really like it.

The colour is a little bit particular, but perfect for the winter season,  the application is really good and also the drying time is really fast.

Nelle ultime due settimane la mia collezione di smalti Catrice e salita da 1 a 6!

(ho approffitato degli sconti "fine produzione ;)

Oggi vi mostro il “Sold out forever”, che è anche considerato un buon dupe per il Chanel Jade!

In the past two weeks, my Catrice nail polish collection went from 1 to 6 ;)  (all bought in sale)

Today I’ll show you the “ Sold out forever” which is also considered a good dupe for Chanel Jade!

Adoro questo smalto:

• il colore
• l’applicazione
• l'asciugatura

insomma è un ottimo smalto, apparte la durata =( ma per me non è poi cosi grave, visto che cambio smalto anche tre volte la settimana =p !!

I  love this polish:

• the colour
• the application ( is a  little bit streaky)
• the drying time

in short, it’s a good polish, apart from duration =( but for me its not a big problem, as I change polish also three times a week =p!!

"Mint Cream" Mermaid

Ciao a tutte ;) Un mesetto e mezzo fa avevo fatto un ordine sul sito inglese della E.l.f. (approfittando del 50% di sconto sul ordine).

Ovviamente tra tanti cosmetici mi ero ordinata anche degli smalti =p  e oggi vi mostro il “mint cream”:

Hi to everybody! One month ago I ordered some beauty products on the uk site of E.l.f ( it was a 50% discount on order) and of course i ordered also some nail polishes ;) Today I’m showing you the “mint cream”! Here it is:

Gli smalti e.l.f. per ora non mi piacciono più di tanto =( su 5 acquistati ne ho provati solo 2, ma in tutti i due casi mi hanno dato i stessi problemi, e cioè:

• stesura non facile perche sono troppo liquidi
• asciugatura lentissima ( dopo ore e ore  mi rimanevano segni sul unghia se andavo a sbattare da qualche parte)
• consistenza (una volta asciutti) e perfino l’odore che mi ricordano la “gomma”
• durata nulla ( neanche un giorno)

So far I really don’t like e.l.f polishes! Also if I only tried 2 of 5 polishes I bought, they gave me the same problems:

• not easy application, because they are to liquid
• very long drying time
• the consistence ( once dried) and even the smell reminds me off “gum”
• duration like zero ( less than a day to see first chipping signs)

Dato che il colore non mi piaceva più di tanto sulle mie unghie =(, e per nn rimettermi un altro coloro, ho dato una passata del Nail Art  - special effect topper “mystic mermaid” della essence:

As I didn’t really liked the colour on my nails, I decided to  put on, one coat of the Nail Art - special effect topper “mystic mermaid” from essence:

Il risultato finale nn mi è dispiaciuto ;) Questo Topper è molto carino, pieno zeppo di micro glitter, che in una passata trasforma uno smalto cream in uno smalto super sbrilucicoso ;)

 

I liked the final result :) This topper is really cute, full of micro glitter, that in one coat turns your cream nail polish into a super glittering nail polish ;)

NOTD: Catrice n.250 “ I sea you”

Ciao a tutti ;) oggi vi mostro un semplice swatch del bellissimo smalto della Catrice “ I sea you”.
Oggi ho anche partecipato al mio primo giveaway su questo bellissimo blog che ormai seguo da un pò ;) "tentiamo la fortuna"!!!

Hi to everybody! Today  I’m  going to show you a simple Swatch of the gorgeous  nail polish from Catrice “I sea you”.
Today I also partecipate at my first giveaway on this beautiful blog that I follow ;)

Se devo dire la verità, dopo essere rimasta delusa dal mio  primo smalto Catrice  il “apropos apricot” ( stesura super strisciosa, consistenza densa /“gommosa”( non so come definirla) e asciugatura parecchio lenta) su questa marca ci avevo messo la croce sopra (anche se tanti colori mi piacevano ) L

If I have to say the truth, I put an X over Catrice nail polishes, after being disappointed with my first polish “apropos apricot” ( streaky application, thick consistence, long drying time).

Ho deciso di dare una seconda possibilità alla Catrice solo quando ha messo in “fine produzione” cioè a 0,99 € alcuni smalti ;) e che dire: di questo “i sea you” sono rimasta molto contenta, anzi mi piace tantissimo!!!

I decided to give a second chance to Catrice only  after putting some nail polishes in “out of production” an so at 0,99 € ;) and what can I say: I’m very happy with“ I sea you” and I like it really much!!

Purtroppo nelle foto il colore esce sul blu/teal, ma in realtà è verde un  “verde lago” molto bello, perfetto per la stagione autunnale/invernale!

Lo smalto sta volta non ha fatto brutti scherzi, consistenza giusta e asciugatura nella norma!! unica pecca: la durata L neanche due giorni senza sbeccature ( ma penso che con un top coat migliore, la durata possa aumentare no?! )

Unfortunately in the photo the colour comes out more blue/teal, but in real,  it is green, a beautiful “ lake green” perfect for the autumn/winter season!!

This time the application was ok! The consistence was right and also the drying time was in the norm. Only bad thing is duration ( less than two days for first chipping signs)

COSA HO USATO/What I used:

Base Coat di Deborah “NAIL SPACE” Base Rinforzante

Smalto: Catrice nr.250 “I sea you”: due mani di smalto/ two coats.

Top Coat di SEPHORA “Top Coat – Ultra Brillance” (anche se non mi piace, devo pur finirlo ;)
