NOTD: stripe it ( with a trick) =p

Buongiorno Ragazze/ Hello Ladies!!!

Per oggi vi mostro una "nail art strisciosa" però con il trucchetto =p

Today I want to show you my "stripy nail art" done with a trick =p

dovete sapere che  io non sono molto pratica nel creare delle nail art con strisce perchè vuoi o non vuoi non mi vengono mai perfette! e anche crearle con l'aiuto dello scotch diventa un pò un lavorone! percui ho  riadottato la tecnica dello smalto fatto asciugare su un foglio e una volta asciutto, lo ho tagaliato a strisce =)

you have to know that I'm not really good in creating nail arts with stripes, because I'm not able to make them perfect and straight!! and  even creating them with scotch tape is a little messy ( at least for me) and so I readopted the technic of polish dried on tranfer paper, and once dried, I cut it into stripes =)

ho usato/ I used:

base color :

• h&m "taupe"

dry stripes/ strisce asciutte:

• nere/black ones: essence Colour&go "black polish"
• pink ones: e.l.f.  "Gum Pink"

NOTD: new franken + nail art foil ;)

Bonsoir Ladies ;)

ultimamente mi piace molto pasticciare con i smalti , per crearmi dei nuovi colori ;)

latley I really like playing around with polishes, to create some new colors ;)

Per questo franken, mi sono ispirata allo smalto della Essie " turquoise & caicos "( presente nella mia wishlist).

Non è proprio uguale, ma cmq  è venuto fuori molto carino!
( in foto risulta azzuro) mal dal vivo è molto più  verde!





For this franken I get inspiration from Essie "turquoise & caicos" polish   ( which is on my wishlist)

It doesn't look the same, but the color turned out really pretty!  
( on the photos it looks like a light blu ) but IRL its much greener.

Per questo franken ho usato: / for this franken I used:

Bottiglietta riempita per 2/3 con / bottle filled with:

• Elf - Mint Cream

Gocce di / Drops of :

• Kiko nr.  295 - 297
• Essence - nail art twins - Bella
• Elf - white

Poi ho utilizzato il " nail transfer foil set" della Essence uscito tempo fa con la collezione " Nails in Style":

Ho applicato il foil  cercando di dare  effetto crackle! / I applied the foil trying to give a crackle effect !

Voi, avete mai utilizzate il foil?  / have you evere used transfer foil?

La manicure di oggi non è niente di speciale….giusto un po’ di puntini e strisce ;)

Today’s mani is nothing special….just a few dots & stripes ;)

Oggi è il turno di una manicure molto colorata che sarebbe perfetta per la primavera/ estate, ma non ho resistito, adoro troppo i colori vivaci, se poi abbinati ai  POLKA DOTS aaaaaaahhhhh <3 <3 <3

( mi sa che i polka dots li vedrete in tutte le salse, mi piacciono troppo =p)

Today is the turn for a colourful manicure, which would be perfect for spring/summer, but I didn’t resist, I love too much colours and if they are together with POLKA DOTS aaaaaaaahh <3 <3  <3

( I think you will see Polka Dots In every possible way, I love them too much =p)

-         base coat:  Rimmel rafforzante unghie

-         pollice e mignolo : Catrice “ sweets for my sweets“

-         indice e annulare: Rimmel Pro“ n.297 show off”

-         medio : Pupa Lasting color “ n.508”

-         POLKA DOTS con smalto Elf + forcina per cappelli

-         base coat:  Rimmel nail strengtheners

-         thump & pinkie : Catrice “ sweets for my sweets“

NOTD: colorful Cheetah

Sono tornata! Oggi vi mostro una  manicure è di due settimane fa, per facilitare il tutto vi mostro le immagini di come l’ho fatta step by step =)

I’m back! Today I’m going to show you This manicure is from two weeks ago, I’m going to show you the  “how to do it” step by step pictures =)

Cosa ho usato/ What I used:

•  “E.l.f” – white polish
• “Essence nail art twins Bella” -  green/teal polish  
• “Essence multi dimension n.76 Cool and the Gang” blue polish
• “[b]Basic Nailpolish n. 220  “ purple nail polish
• “Rimmel London Pro n. 297 “ pink polish
• Chettah spots with “ Moda quick – one second per nail” black polish (ho usato una forcina / I used a bobbing pin)
• Top Coat –  Seche Vite

Holo Glitter Franken Polish ;)

Buon inizio settimana a tutti/ Good week start to everybody ;)

Lo scorso weekend mi sono creata il mio primo “Fanken polish” ;)

Last weekend I created my first Franken polish ;)

E da tanto che vedeo questi smalti olografici bellissimi in giro per internet, e quando ho trovato dei micro glitter olografici mi è venuta la voglia di provare a farlo.

It is a  long time that I see those beautiful Holographic nail polishes on the net, so when i found holographic glitter I wanted to try to do it myself.

Cosa vi serve/ What you need:

• Bottiglietta di smalto vuota ( una fatica per pulirla !!)
• Micro glitter olografici
• Smalto trasparente ( io ho usato uno della Elf)
• Smalto con glitter ( visto che avevo questo smalto glitter di Chaterine Arley, ne ho messo un po’)

• Empty polish bottle
• Holographic micro glitters
• Clear nail polish ( I used one from Elf)
• Glitter nail polish ( I just put in a little bit of Catherine Arley glitter polish)

Come base ho usato il “desert haze” di E.l.f ( due passate) e poi 2 passate abbondanti del franken polish

As base colour I used desert haze from E.l.f ( 2 coats) and 2 gently coats from my Franken polish

 

Vi mostro anche la differenza tra i glitter di Catherine Arley e il mio( tre passate):

Che dire: sono molto contenta di questo smaltino “ fai da te”, l’effetto sul unghia è bellissimo soprattutto sotto la luce del sole ( non la finivo di guardarmi le unghie =p) SUPER SUPER sbrilucicose !!!!!

Al tatto lo smalto si presenta ruvido ma basta dare una o due passate di  topcoat, inoltre si può anche usare facendo una sola passata per dare quel tocco di glitter in più!!

La durata è ottima, mi è durato quasi perfetto per 4 giorni, la rimozione è un po’ più difficile (in effetti ho usato la tecnica della carta stagnola)

 

What can I say: I’m really happy with this “ DIY” polish , the effect on the nails is beautiful ( I couldn’t stop looking at my nails =p) super super glittering !!!!!

The polish is rough to the touch, but with one or two coats of topcoat it turns out smooth again!!

Duration is very good, I let it on for 4 days and it was almost perfect, removal is a little bit difficult (I used the tin foil removal technique)

"Mint Cream" Mermaid

Ciao a tutte ;) Un mesetto e mezzo fa avevo fatto un ordine sul sito inglese della E.l.f. (approfittando del 50% di sconto sul ordine).

Ovviamente tra tanti cosmetici mi ero ordinata anche degli smalti =p  e oggi vi mostro il “mint cream”:

Hi to everybody! One month ago I ordered some beauty products on the uk site of E.l.f ( it was a 50% discount on order) and of course i ordered also some nail polishes ;) Today I’m showing you the “mint cream”! Here it is:

Gli smalti e.l.f. per ora non mi piacciono più di tanto =( su 5 acquistati ne ho provati solo 2, ma in tutti i due casi mi hanno dato i stessi problemi, e cioè:

• stesura non facile perche sono troppo liquidi
• asciugatura lentissima ( dopo ore e ore  mi rimanevano segni sul unghia se andavo a sbattare da qualche parte)
• consistenza (una volta asciutti) e perfino l’odore che mi ricordano la “gomma”
• durata nulla ( neanche un giorno)

So far I really don’t like e.l.f polishes! Also if I only tried 2 of 5 polishes I bought, they gave me the same problems:

• not easy application, because they are to liquid
• very long drying time
• the consistence ( once dried) and even the smell reminds me off “gum”
• duration like zero ( less than a day to see first chipping signs)

Dato che il colore non mi piaceva più di tanto sulle mie unghie =(, e per nn rimettermi un altro coloro, ho dato una passata del Nail Art  - special effect topper “mystic mermaid” della essence:

As I didn’t really liked the colour on my nails, I decided to  put on, one coat of the Nail Art - special effect topper “mystic mermaid” from essence:

Il risultato finale nn mi è dispiaciuto ;) Questo Topper è molto carino, pieno zeppo di micro glitter, che in una passata trasforma uno smalto cream in uno smalto super sbrilucicoso ;)

 

I liked the final result :) This topper is really cute, full of micro glitter, that in one coat turns your cream nail polish into a super glittering nail polish ;)
