NOTW: "4 colors in one"

Ciao Ragazze / Hi Ladies

oggi vi mostro un'altra nail art, realizzata un paio di mesi fa ancora in Italia!!! come base per l'intera manicure ho utilizzato uno smalto turchese della Bottega Verde, non avevo mai provato un  loro smalto, e visto che era in offerta a 1,00 € me lo sono porata a casa!

L'applicazione non mi è piaciuta affatto, ci sono volute più passate per avere una copertura omogenea e anche l'asciugatura è stata estremamente lenta, percui direi che questo smaltino è super bocciato!! 

Today I show you another Nail Art, created a couple of months ago when I was still in Italy! as base color of the whole manicure I used a turquoise nail polish from Bottega Verde, I've never tried their nail  polish, and as they where in offer for 1,00€ , I bought one!

I didn't like the application at all, it tooked several coats to get a even coverage, and also the drying time was really slow! so I would say that this polish is not worth it!!!

come dicevo, non felice del risultato ho pensato bene di mascherare le imprecisioni creando una nail art!

Ho utlizzato lo smalto "Very Berry" e "Galactic Black" della essence, per le linee dorate ho utilizzato uno smalto della Pupa!

how I was saying, not happy with the result I thought to mask the imperfections by creating a nail art!

I used "Very Berry" and "Galactic Black" from essence, and for the golden lines I used a polish from Pupa!

NOTD: stripe it ( with a trick) =p

Buongiorno Ragazze/ Hello Ladies!!!

Per oggi vi mostro una "nail art strisciosa" però con il trucchetto =p

Today I want to show you my "stripy nail art" done with a trick =p

dovete sapere che  io non sono molto pratica nel creare delle nail art con strisce perchè vuoi o non vuoi non mi vengono mai perfette! e anche crearle con l'aiuto dello scotch diventa un pò un lavorone! percui ho  riadottato la tecnica dello smalto fatto asciugare su un foglio e una volta asciutto, lo ho tagaliato a strisce =)

you have to know that I'm not really good in creating nail arts with stripes, because I'm not able to make them perfect and straight!! and  even creating them with scotch tape is a little messy ( at least for me) and so I readopted the technic of polish dried on tranfer paper, and once dried, I cut it into stripes =)

• h&m "taupe"

dry stripes/ strisce asciutte:

• nere/black ones: essence Colour&go "black polish"
• pink ones: e.l.f.  "Gum Pink"

voglio mostrarvi il ormai stra visto “ Blue addicted” della Essence, diventato popolare oltre alla sua bellezza anche per il fatto che è un dupe praticamente perfetto per il Famoso “Across the Universe” di Deborah Lippman! Questo smaltino  era nella mia wishlist da un po’ di tempo e finalmente sono riuscita a trovarlo!

Today I want to show you “ Blue Addicted” from Essence, which is  popular beside his beauty also for the fact that it’s a perfect dupe for the famous “ Across the Universe” from Deborah Lippman! This polish  was on my wishlist since a little bit and I finally found it!

E come primo post del 2012 voglio partire con una Nail Art che mi sono  portata dietro  dal 2011 ;)

And for the first post of 2012 I want to start with a Nail Art that I took with me from 2011 ;)

Si tratta di una scotch tape mani, creata con uno degli miei ultimi acquisti smaltosi di essence:

It’s a scotch tape mani, created with one of my last Essence Polish purchases:

• Nr.41 “Very Berry”

Per quested nail art ho usato/ for this nail art I used:

• Ho applicato 2 strati di “Very Berry”
• ho tagliato delle striscioline di scotch e le ho applicate in modo da creare dei disegni geometrici (tipo Tetris)
• ho applicato lo smalto nero
• ho tolto delicatamente lo scotch
• ho piazzato i brillantini rosa
• ho sigillato tutto con due passate di Seche Vite

• I applied 2 coats of Very Berry
• I cut out some stripes from scotch tape and than I applied them in a way to create a geometrical design (like Tetris)
• I applied one coat of black polish
• I slowly peeled the scotch tape away
• I applied the pink rhinestones
• Sealed everything with two coats of Seche Vite

Che ve ne pare?  A me è piaciuta tantissimo,  mi piace molto il fatto che ogni unghia ha un disegno diverso!!!

NOTD: Snowy halfmoon

Buongiorno Ragazze/ Good Morning Ladies =)

questa settimana mi sono cimentata per la seconda volta con la "halfmoon manicure" la prima volta che ci ho provato il risultato non è proprio stato dei migliori!  giudicate voi ( clicca qua) !!!
Questa volta è venuta un po' meglio,  ma cmq la mezza luna non vuole saperne di uscire perfettamente delineata  >_<  vabbè ci riproveremo ;)

this week I tried for the second time to create a "halfmoon manicure" !
the first time I tried, the result was not exactly the best! judge for yourself ( click here)!!!
This time the mani came out a little better, but anyway the halfmoon didn't came out perfectly delineated >_< oh well, I'll try again ;)

Sephora Nail Patch Tester "Chinese Bloosom" + Nail Art

Ciaoooo Ragazze / Hi Ladies =)

Buon inizio settimana a tutte / Happy week start to all of you!!

due settimane fa sono stata da Sephora,  e girovagando per il negozio mi sono imbattuta negli tester dei Nail Patch!  li conoscerete tutte...quei nail sticker di smalto autoadesivi che promettono  di avere una manicure  perfetta per almeno 11 giorni! Mi hanno sempre ispirato perché hanno dei design veramente sfiziosi! L'unica pecca di questi nail patch è il prezzo 8,90 € a mio parere sono veramente tanti per una manicure che ti dura 10 giorni ed è finita li ( meglio prendersi  due boccette di smalto che almeno puoi riutilizzare =p) però per chi non ha voglia/tempo di cambiare lo smalto molto spesso,  questa può essere una piacevole alternativa!!!Allora come vi dicevo mi sono portata a casa un tester ( 2 patch ) e gli ho utilizzati come accent nail!
Purtroppo ho perso tutte le foto del 1° giorno di  applicazione =( e per cui  vi mostro direttamente le foto del 2° 3° e 4° giorno dal applicazione!

Inoltre sul  pollice mi sono sbizzarrita per la prima volta con i pennelli per nail art ( ordinati su ebay)!!!

two weeks ago I went to Sephora and there my eyes fell on some "Nail Patch Tester"! of course you all know Sephora's Nail stickers made of polish which permits to have a perfect manicure for almost 11 days!! I always wanted to try them because they have some really nice designs.The only fault is the price: I think that 8,90 € are a lot  for a manicure which last only 10 days and thats it ( much better two bottles of nail polish, at least you can reuse them =p) but for those who doesn't have time to change nail polish very often, this can be a very good alternative!!!
So as I was saying I took home a tester ( 2 patches) and I used them as accent nail!
Unfortunatly I lost all the photos of the first day of application =( and so I'll show you the photos of the 2th and 3th &4th day !!

Additionally on my thump I created my first nail art by using  nail art brushes ( ordered on ebay) !!!!

Essence - nr.85 galactic black

al 3°giorno ho dato una rinfrescata alle punte con lo smalto nero

on the 3th day I refreshed the tips with black polish:

al 4° invece ho dato una passata di Matt top coat della essence: l'effetto mi è piaciuto tantissimo, sembravano fatte di stoffa!
on the 4th instead I added one coat of Matt top coat from essence: I really liked the final result, they looked like fabric!!

 Conclusioni finali: sicuramente non sono in grado di dare un giudizio al 100% perchè ho testato solo un Nail patch, ma per quello che sono riuscita a vedere, questi sticker non sono poi cosi  male! ho dubbi sulla durata.. insomma, non so in che condizioni arriveranno al  11° giorno visto che già al 2° le punte erano leggermente rovinate!

Final Conclusions:  certainly I'm not able to judge 100% , because I only tested one nail patch! but for what I could see, these stickers are not that bad! I have doubt about duration ... I don't know under what conditions they will  reach the 11 th day,  since already at 2 th the tips were slightly damaged!

ultimamente mi piace molto pasticciare con i smalti , per crearmi dei nuovi colori ;)

latley I really like playing around with polishes, to create some new colors ;)

Per questo franken, mi sono ispirata allo smalto della Essie " turquoise & caicos "( presente nella mia wishlist).

Non è proprio uguale, ma cmq  è venuto fuori molto carino!
( in foto risulta azzuro) mal dal vivo è molto più  verde!





For this franken I get inspiration from Essie "turquoise & caicos" polish   ( which is on my wishlist)

It doesn't look the same, but the color turned out really pretty!  
( on the photos it looks like a light blu ) but IRL its much greener.

questo smaltino fa parte di una Limited Edition di quest'estate se non mi sbaglio! costa 1, 49 € e si potrebbe definire un "one coater"! Io cmq preferisco sempre fare due passate per rendere tutto perfettamente omogeneo ;) si applica molto bene e asciuga anche abb. in fretta.

this polish is part of a Limited Edition from this summer (if I'm not wrong) ! It cost 1, 49 € and it could be called a "one coater" ! But I always prefer  2 coats for a perfect and even coverage! Application and drying time are very good.

NOTD: Bella without Edward ;)

Buongiorno Ragazze / Good Morning Ladies !!!

Per il post di oggi, vi mostro la mia mani fatta con: / For today's post I show you my mani done with:

Essence -  nail art twins nr.06 " Bella"  +  Kiko nr.270  "sparkle touch"

Lo smalto Essence "Bella", è un bel verde/ teal dal finish cremoso ( è un casino riuscire a fotografare il colore reale) dal vivo è molto più verde e luminoso. Questo smalto è  molto pigmentato ( infatti ho messo ben due passate di base coat, per evitare qualsiasi problema) per  una copertura perfetta e omogenea bastano due passate.

Essence Bella is a nice cream green/ teal  polish ( It's really hard taking the right colour! In real  it looks much greener and brighter). The polish is really pigmented ( infact I applied two coats of base coat, to avoid any problem) for a perfect and smooth coverage you need two coats.

Visto che non avevo preso lo smalto gemello di Bella e cioè Edward, ho pensato  di usare lo smalto Kiko nr. 270 trovato nei cestini da 1, 50 €!! Questo smalto è visivamente molto carino: presenta dei flakes più grandi e dei microglitter con sfumature che variano dal rosa al blu e al verde. Anche qui per distribuire bene i glitter ci vogliono almeno due passate + Top coat. 

As I didn't buy Bella's twin (Edward) I thought of using Kiko nr. 270.
This polish is really cute...with pink, green and blu nuanced flakes and microglitters. Also here you need at least two coats + Top coat.

Non voglio parlarvi della rimozione perché è stata veramente faticosa......oltre alla tecnica della carta stagnola ho dovuto usare anche la lima !! >_< argh

I don't want to talk about the removal because it was awkward.....beside the tinfoil removal technique I also had to use the nail file !!! >_< argh

Direi che questo smalto Kiko è un ottimo sostituto di  Edward
( rimozione a parte) no?! ;)

I would say that this Kiko polish is a perfect substitute for Edward   
( apart removal ) no?! ;)

Buon Sabato / Good Saturday Ladies

Oggi vi mostro un’altro smalto Catrice =D

Today I’m showing you another Catrice polish =D

Si tratta del nr.300 “Be my milionarie “  arricchito con il mio HGFP ( holo glitter franken polish)

It’s Catrice nr. 300 “ Be my millionaire” enriched with my HGFP ( holo glitter franken polish)

L' abbinamento mi è piaciuto molto!!! È una manicure  perfetta per il sabato sera ;)

Il colore da solo è molto particolare ( o lo ami o lo odi) è un grigio scuro metallizzato tendente al viola.( penso che anche in versione matt non dovrebbe essere male)

I really liked how it turns out!! This mani is perfect for a Saturday night out:)

The colour  by his own is really particular ( or you love it or you hate it) it’s a sort of grey metallic with a hint of purple. (I think this polish might be nice with a matt top coat).

La durata sta volta è stata pessima (in effetti non ho applicato nessun top coat) dopo un giorno era già rovinato sulle punte =( per cui con il stampy set della essence ci ho fatto un bel stamping animalier sopra ;) bello bello mi piace un sacco il nero tigrato con il grigio/glitteroso !!!

Duration this time was awful ( ok, I didn’t apply a top coat) after one day it was already ruined on the tips =( so with the stampy set from essence, I did a nice animalier stamping :) nice nice I really love the black  stamping with the  glittering grey !!!

 P.s: anche questo smalto Catrice è andato fuori produzione!

 P.s: also this Catrice polish whent out of production!
